Sixh / H.Naoto, MiNT NeKO

I’m pretty old, but I’m still quite the fashion baby. As in, literally today finding out that Sixh is the old H.Naoto before they merged/consolidated.

But man they had some niiiiice threads. The implementation of the colors are nice. Nowadays, a lot of brands are sticking to just plain grayscale, or going full-on with the color and there’s very little in-between. Or more likely they’re just VERY expensive so I’ll just keep on the lookout to get them second-hand, lol. In the meanwhile, 90% of the things I find that I like just happen to be black, black, and black 😀

I honestly wasn’t too impressed by my first impression of their stuff. I mostly attest this to the models they use, which are usually very Caucasian and tall, a big opposite of me. ^^; They’re also VERY expensive compared to other brands I check out, but I realize the reason behind it. As I check out more of their pieces, my delight with them grows, and I look forward to their continued works.

I’ve also managed to super thrift some pieces thus far hahaha…

An H.Naoto cardigan I picked up at 3,333. The seller I got it from, I originally checked for Sekupo things, but came across this and ended up seeing this in her listings. It was the first time I’d even heard of the brand, and it left me going through the rabbithole looking through H.Naoto things as a result. After peeking around a lot, I took this as an experimental piece to add to the Sekupo pants I really wanted to get from her (A cheap but STYLISH 2,500 pair), but I ended up liking this cardigan more in the end!! (Mostly cuz the Sekupo pants REALLY are too large even though I was warned, but I will still give them the challenge some day) The sleeves on this cardigan are quite unique and poofed up at the cuffs. There are musical bits on the bottom lining of it, it’s subtly striped, and the pockets are EXCELLENT. I need to remind myself to wear a belt with it as it has the loops for that, too.
A different MiNT NeKO long skirt I got for 2,860. This one’s really simple to put on and has really good pockets! Has good purple hints.

An old SixH parka with hood + shawl I snagged for 550
MiNT NeKO long skirt. Funny story I have two of the exact same pair of these from two different used listings, and I could only have suspicions back then that they were the same thing because it’s quite difficult to tell from pictures. One was priced 2,500 and the other 2,900. Averaged out to 2,700 each and I was very fine with the takeaway of it lol. It’s a very unique skirt that is bulky, almost stock-paper like.
