HIGH EXPECTATIONS for getting any main pieces, NEW OR THRIFTED…:
1. Natural fibers: Cotton, wool, etc
2. MUST HAVE POCKETS (I make exceptions for the right price though…) – If this means getting less from Meta, BTSSB, AATP, as much as I love them… then so be it. If that means becoming the AP whore I’ve dreaded all this time… then so be it. But I STILL won’t be a sweet.
3. Stay off prints JSKs unless they’re my absolute weakness cats + music
4. Stay off OTT (I don’t necessarily mean full CASUAL but casual is actually fine too. ie find pieces I can wear on a regular basis)
5. Roomy sizes only. But…
6. Stay off pieces that are TOO BIG FOR ME, even if the deal is good……… unless I’m strictly able/willing to alter/modify it (R.R.Memorandum skirt comes to mind)
7. High quality torchon lace only! Tulle can die in a pit of fire (aka selling). I’ve really come to dislike how tulle lacing looks in general. And it’s also not comfy.
8. Small exceptions made for my recent tartan addiction… but KEEP IT SMALL exception
Tentative goals but not completely solidified:
-Collect more Jane Marple, Pink House type of things… proto lolita.
-Continue supporting AtPie if they’ll continue putting out releases with pockets ;X

*Feb 2024 update*: Realizing a lot of this is leaning me towards oldschool!! BTSSB’s has been my favorite for that so far, so I injected them into the brand list.
